Great for active riders, the Mattes Detachable Girth makes caring for your girth easier than ever before. Simply detach the sheepskin cover from the base girth for quick wash.

Option to purchase base girths and sheepskin covers separately allow even greater flexibility for using one girth on multiple horses. A full range of couture colors are available via special order, so you can color coordinate both the base girth as well as the sheepskin. Wash girth and cover with MELP.

• Girth covers should be frequently washed with MELP to maintain the quality of the sheepskin.
• Base girths are not to be used without the cover.

CRESCENT GIRTHS AND COVERS

Crescent Girths and Covers are made for for horses with a combination of a short back and sprung rib cage causing girths to slide forward into the elbow. The crescent girth shape keeps the girth from being pushed forward and gives room for the elbows, and helps eliminate galling.
