Amerigo stirrup irons make a significant difference to your security in the saddle. The footbed is slightly deeper than a traditional fillis stirrup, this provides a more stable platform for your foot. And rather than a piece of rubber under foot, the footbed features a holes-and-grip finish to keep your foot from slipping. And to top all this off, it's a safety stirrup. So the rubber branch simply folds open in case of a fall, and is easily re-attached (or replaced).
