Recall: Vespucci Rubber Reins

Acting out an abundance of caution, World Equestrian Brands is initiating a voluntary recall of all Vespucci Rubber Reins sold between February 2024 and September 2024. This affects all models of rubber reins, including:

• Edwina Jumper Reins with Buckles SKU: 811183
• Edwina Jumper Reins with Hook Studs SKU: 811184
• Eventing Reins with Buckles SKU: 811146
• Rubber Reins with Buckles SKU: 811181
• Rubber Reins with Hook Studs SKU: 811182
• Rubber Reins with Stops and Buckles SKU: 811185
• Rubber Reins with Stops and Hook Studs SKU: 811186

“These reins do not meet our standard for quality or durability,” said Robin Moore, owner of World Equestrian Brands. “We’ve had reports about reins breaking, so we are taking this unprecedented step to keep everyone safe.”

"World Equestrian Brands is working with our manufacturer to determine the exact cause of the defect that has occurred in the reins. We all take the safety of our customers and their horses very seriously."

Until the cause is determined and rectified, WEB will suspend sales of the reins in question. "We have a decades old relationship with our manufacturer, and we are confident in a quick and thorough correction," states Moore.

IF YOU ARE A CONSUMER WHO PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM WORLD EQUESTRIAN BRANDS

1. Fill out the form to request a Return Authorization to return the reins and receive a refund.
2. Wait for approval for Return Authorization.
3. Only after receiving approval, pack up the reins and ship to: World Equestrian Brands
   230 West 22nd St.
   Buena Vista, VA, 24416
4. Once your inventory has been received and processed a credit will be issued to your account.
5. Shipping costs will be covered in the form of a credit on your account.

If you purchased any of these reins between February and September 2024, please return the reins to the retail store where you purchased them for a refund. If you are unable to return to the store where you purchased the reins, please contact World Equestrian Brands at 888.637.8463.

2. Pack up the inventory to return.
