The slimline, flexible magnets inside the movable patches have an alternating sequence of North and South magnetic fields across their surface. When North and South poles alternate across a surface, the magnetic field changes direction rapidly over short distances. This creates a more dynamic and complex magnetic field versus the uniform field of a single-pole magnet. These rapid changes can stimulate charged particles, like ions in blood and tissues, more effectively. 

The detachable neck is also lined with Velcro® receptive fabric allowing the magnets to be targeted at neck problems. Each rug comes with 2 large square magnetic patches and 4 long magnetic patches – delivering a significant 3,250cms square of magnetic surface area.
