Susie Artes of California

Susie Artes is a native Californian and a lifelong participant in the West Coast horse show circuit. She has been a professional rider and trainer for over 50 years, leading the West Coast League.

Competitive Career

In 2006, Susie qualified for the West Coast Active Riders (WCAR) team to compete in France, Holland, and Spain. She has also competed at Spruce Meadows on multiple occasions, including in 1983, 2006, 2012, and 2013. Susie has won several significant competitions, including the $25,000 S & S Bank Card Systems Flintridge Grand Prix in April 2014.
