Allison Brock: A Champion Equestrian

Allison Brock is a distinguished USDF Gold and Silver medalist and a Bronze Olympic medalist, known for her remarkable contributions to the sport of dressage. She represented Team USA at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where she and her horse Rosie secured a bronze medal in team dressage.

Background

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Allison Brock began her equestrian journey at the tender age of 10 when she started taking dressage lessons. Over the years, she has developed into a highly respected FEI Dressage Trainer and Coach. Brock credits her mentor, Sue Blinks, for providing her with invaluable training, horsemanship, and stable management skills, likening it to a "college education" in the equestrian field.

Career Highlights

  • Bronze medalist for Team USA at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with her horse Rosie.
  • Part of the Gold-winning U.S. Nations Cup Team in 2015.
  • Competed successfully at the FEI International Grand Prix level with Rosie.

Since 2004, Allison has served as the head trainer at Fritz and Claudine’s DeerMeadow Farms, where she continues to shape the next generation of equestrians. She has also been an active member of the U.S. Equestrian Board of Directors and has represented the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Athletes’ Advisory Council.

Current Endeavors

Allison Brock is currently seasonally located in Wellington, Florida, and Keswick, Virginia, where she continues to train and coach aspiring riders. She has been a dedicated ambassador for Brooke USA since 2015, advocating for the welfare of working horses and donkeys.
